Selby Aquanauts SAA 1117
Check out the clubs website at www.selbyaquanauts.org.uk NOTE- This link will take you away from the Red Hat
Diving website.
You can also find Selby Aquanauts on Facebook.
Selby Aquanauts was formed in the mid 90's with the idea of organising dive trips for local divers not already a member of a club, rather than depending on filling in gaps with other clubs. We have traditionally been affiliated to no diving organisation counting Padi, SAA, Naui and Bs-ac trained divers among our members but in 2008 we joined the SAA. (Sub Aqua Association)
All training is done locally to SAA's high standards by one of the many instructors in the club. Pool training is done at Selby Leisure Centre.
If you are not sure about scuba diving why not have a try out in the pool.
All divers are welcome and the club runs their own free training programme open to all club members. An SAA membership will also give all members a CMAS qualification - recognized worldwide. Most of our diving is done from charter boats and anyone is welcome to dive with us member or not. If you live local to Selby we meet in the Nelson Inn, Ousegate, Selby on a Thursday evening.
If you want a chat about the club or fancy a try out in the pool ring any of the officers below.
